Since inception the Pride Run has raised over £23,000 for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) charities.

All the proceeds from each race are donated to a chosen charity. This year, London Frontrunners members have selected The Albert Kennedy Trust (AKT) as their chosen charity.

AKT is a registered charity that supports LGBT homeless young people. Founded in 1989, AKT's mission is to ensure that all LGBT young people are able to live in accepting, supportive and caring homes. AKT offer a range of services to meet individuals needs. They aim to do this by:

- Providing appropriate homes through supported lodgings, fostering and other specialist housing schemes.
- Enabling young people to manage independent living successfully.
- Improving attitudes within society towards lesbian and bisexual young people.
